formula 27 for repairing gpr??
im thinking about repainting my ski but its got a couple of scratches here and there that are going to need some type of "bondo".
ive spoken to a couple of guys in miami and they say Formula 27 is what works best on the SMC hulls.
i dont have cracks or anything serious...just lots of scratches and some deep scratches...
what have you guys used and does it stay on?

MarineTex works nice and its epoxy based so it sticks to SMC.

Normal Bondo is not good for watercraft, mainly because it absorbs water.
I have some pretty deep gouges in the bottom of my hull from the previous owner beaching it... i'm going to fill it with gel-coat and sand it smooth.

duke do you use the regular marine tex or marine tex flex set?
i called marinetex and they said the flex set would probably be better but that they havent really done much testing with SMC
