FS/Part Out: 99 Pro785 - SW MI, must sell
This is the 99 Pro 785 we were trying to sell at the end of last year, but never found the right buyer.
We have the clean title in hand. Ski ran fine up to about 50 mph on the speedo, but sometimes was difficult to start. We brought it to a service shop and found low compression in the middle cylinder (90 psi). The other two were around 150 psi.
Shop said that it will most likely need a new cylinder and piston. I have no mechanical aptitude and no desire to invest more money into it unless I can find cheap used parts (looking hard in the classifieds)...
Can also part it out, but really should be a simple fix for a great ski...
Someone buy this (accepting offers). Test drive/inspection available on Lake Michigan near Grand Haven, MI.

We bought the ski with a fresh top end rebuild with about 6 hours on it since the rebuild. We have put on approximately 10 add'l hours all of last summer, but I will have to double check.
The previous owner reset the digitial display, so it doesn't show actual hours. I think previous owner said about 60 hours before it got refreshed. Apparently, the rebuild wasn't so fresh as we need a new middle cylinder now.Last edited by eye4speed; 06-03-2008 at 09:35 PM.

What are you looking to get out of it? Does the trailer come with it?

Sorry, already sold the trailer.
I talked to a few shops and had one interested at $1500 as a part out ski...
If I can find a used cylinder/piston/top end kit I could sell it for more than that, but I'm not sure what that is going to cost plus labor...
Was purchased for $2900 -- willing to take offers, but I think it is worth more than $500.Last edited by eye4speed; 06-04-2008 at 12:01 PM.
