Deph finder transducer (puck) location
07 150 Speedster
Looking for a proven spot to mount the Humminbird HDR 610 Puck. Any dash ideas would also be appreciated.

Me too. But I am interested in the location on a C180 as opposed to a sportster.

Guys, I don't know but you might look for the small circle on the hull to see where the seadoo depth finder mounts and maybe you have one like that in the boats too. Also, check with the dealer to see where the stock one mounts.
Look at this from my RXT.

I'm not sure if the hull is much different from the new Speedsters and the older Sportsters, but I asked the customer support at Norcross about where to mount the transducer for my Sportster. He pointed me to this thread on another forum. I installed it in the same place (or had someone with smaller hands do it for me) and it seems to work fine. This is a video of the location from that thread:

Thanks for the vid.
That pretty much answered the question for both types of boat.

hummingbird hdr 610 location
Put the guage above the controls ,and the puck under the rear of the gas tank on my 07 speedster. Works perfect and looks great.

Thank you! After looking at the video the hull looks the same. It's going to look bad if someone sees me mounting it in that location it may look like I'm mounting the engine

Ha, you have no idea! Since the tuned pipe on my 947 2-stroke seems to take up a bit more room than the newer engine in that vid I could barely even touch that location, let alone get my hand down there to sand it. I recruited my friend's wife to help. I layed a few blankets on the engine block (careful not to put pressure on anything breakable) and she straddled the engine to reach both hands down there. It was quite a sight.

You can see where I mounted the display here. I moved the fuel gauge down to the steering wheel pod since I don't look at it as much as the depth.
