Hose Routing for Dumping #3 with 3 piece head

I have 3 piece heads and would like to dump the water for#3 overboard. I placed the fitting on the transom wall higher than the siphon tube.

Do you run the hose directly under the battery tray or around the outside above the waterbox ? Its a 1300 waterbox so its pretty tough to get between the outlet and the baffle thing.

Bring it from the transom wall forward, then curve up between the wb outlet and the wb hump, then forward between the port side and the battery box, over to the head with a 90 or 45deg fitting (45 is my preference)
