Whats a good cruising rpm?
Whats a good cruising rpm for the 4-tec? I have the n/a version gtx my max rpm is about 7350-7400. Is 6500-6800 rpm ok? thats abut 3/4 throttle for me. I just dont wanna be over working my motor. I want the most out of it. Gas mileage is not really a major concern for me.

I think I remember 5000 RPM was the best for mileage. I've done long cruises at 6500-7000 without problems. A few 5 mile spurts at 7500 and above every now and then, no problems (04RXP).

I run mine (RXP & RXT) between 5500 and 5800 RPM, 40 MPH, and get about 90 miles to a tank.
