Trip meter-
Seems like late model cruisers and SHO cruiser's, have a trip meter-- average speed, trip timer- trip meter -etc- on the display.
BUT-------------They reset to "0" every time you shut the engine off, even to grab a quick beverage- refuel- or bs.
WTF-----
How stupid is this--- The Doo's managed to not reset until YOU- reset them yourself- years ago----
Anyone know how- which wire we might be able to hook up to a switch, wired directly to the battery- so the darn gauges will not reset until we want them to??
Thanks

Yamaha go to the trouble of giving you a trip meter.......then render it near useless........can't see the thinking behind it. I suspect the wiring will be too complicated for an easy fix.
