07 250X starting my mods questions
Finally finished my RXP going 80++ and now starting on my ultra the GPR is next!! so last night pulled the intercoller to see if any oil was in there and it was dry as a bone but flushed it any way. pulled the BOV and caped it .put the valve cover blockoffs on and installed the riva cold air intake ,What a PITA to remove the old air box!!!! the riva grate with the R+D seal kit and the water box bypass. First question is,,,, advertisers are listing an intake grate to get the advertised top speeds is it necessary?? and How about the sponsons I know on the gpr they help acceleration is it the same on the ultra??? and the R+D fuel pick up has any one pulled the pick up out without removing the body work?????

The Riva (actually it's from R&D) intake grate will slow you down. Unless you ride offshore, put the stock one back on.

I have the instructions it just says to remove the stock hose and discard and install the new one But I cant get to the clamp to JUST remove and discard the only way I can get to the clamp is to remove the manifold unless some one on here knows a better way????
