Broken bolt in trim ring
I broke a bolt in my trim ring and it's not sticking out far enough for me to screw it out with plyers..What's the best way of getting it out..I heard of an easy-out but haven't actually dealt with one or seen one before..can someone help me out on this please

Go to that hardware store next to or behind kirks and they should have easy outs. They look like little screws on a post. You drill a hole and screw the easy out in and it should back out the broken bolt.

Your not the first to break a bolt there. Make sure and use a little heat to loosen up the orange stuff yamaha uses.

Reverse drill bits work wonders... but in your case, use a bit just smaller than the bolt, drill into it and it should unscrew out the other end.

The bolt is actually sticking out far enough for me to take out with plyers but..it's also sticking out far enough to stop the trim ring from coming off so the plyers can fit
