just sharing my opinion and not slamming Riva.
I feel the Riva kit is over priced.
With that out of the way it is a very good option IF you can get past the plastic cover that comes with it.
There is a recent thread and I have a thread discussing using the stock cover. The Riva is a good lever but prefer the UMI lever, had the uni on my other ski.
I feel both are viable options. The X lever is available in piece meal which will run about $200

Here's what I did..
I'm using the Riva bar extension kit. I tossed the cheesy shroud cover they supplied & used the billet finger throttle I had laying around since the riva plastic one was a yamaha trigger.
I removed the OEM thumb throttle & put the plugs back in. I lined up the KVPI to be sure of the grip & finger position at WOT that was comfortable & marked it before I drilled the hole in the shroud cover. Drill the hole at the angle of the cable so it won't look goofy
BLAM!!
Here it is.

Love the KVPI throttle... I had one back in the day on my 96XP. Where did you pick it up from?

I had it on my GSX for a while, took it off, put it back on. Then I swapped the riva/yamaha throttle over to the GSX & put it on the rxp.
I got it on ebay several yrs ago.

ou812,
Excellent job on the finger throttle... Looks factory. Can you list exactly what parts you needed to do that project?

Nice!! did you need to use the Riva bar extensions?
Looks like you have plenty of room there.

what else would be needed to convert to a finger throttle?
