    sliding block replacement

I need to replace the sliding block on my 95 XP. It snapped in half for some reason and I've ordered a new one now. (its the piece that comes from the VTS out the back to the nozzle that controls the trim) Anyone know the easiest way to do this? From the back by removing the nut? or from the inside? I'm kind of knew to these things, and from the sound of things it doesn't sound to be a difficult job....just looking for advice form anyone who has ever done this

    Thanks in advance
