Jerry's and Riva SC washers versus OEM SC washers
I remember a while back there were a few guys that were wearing out Jerry's and even Riva's metal SC washers with aftermarket SC's really fast. Can't remember who it was but I want to say they were CC & SC racers. Now that BRP has an OEM metal washer have they tried them to see if the last any longer? Has anyone Rockwell tested the OEM washer? I'm kind of suprised no one has reported on this yet.

I rebuild superchargers every day with the new 08 OEM kits with metal washers. So far so good.

I would expect them to be OK short term, I was wondering over the entire life span if one was better than the other. I'm wondering if BRP got a hold of Jerry's, Rivas, or someone else's washers and copied them with the same metallurgical properties, hence the Rockwell question. I need to find the thread where the guy was not satisfied with your washers. I think he had a ceramic bearing failure also. I think he said he was replacing your washers every 10 hours and just a little longer with Riva's. let me go look.

It's very common to have to replace metal washers every 10 hours or so in closed course racing applications. That is a lot of stress on the clutch.
