Rock rattle and roll
LOL
Anyways does anybody know how to fix or why does my hood rattle at lower rpms or at idle ? I have a pro1200 and the little platic latch ontop of the hood rattles, the only way to stop it is to hold it. Also what is the best way to remove small marks of the rub rail ?

Welcome to the world of Polaris PWC's with domestic engines!!!!
Get new ones! On a more serious note, rub rails are tough to screw with... ...you need a good plastic paint to stick to them and getting it to blend will be tough, I have to imagine there is a sound way to fix blemishes in them without buyin a new set though, so I would be interested to hear it.
I have one left sided rub rail I would part with for a fair price if you cant find a way to smooth em out.
That new driveshaft/coupler working well?

Is it spring loaded? maybe a few small bumpers under the edge of the hood to make it apply more pressure.

The new shaft and coupler are doing great. Put around 10 hrs on it this past memorial day weekend. Had a blast, to much fun. The one thing im starting not to like is when i hit a larger opening of water, i cant hook up im just up and down up and down. LOL maybe i need a Matrix for longer crusies, LOL

Like many that ive talked to, no matter how much you do to it, its just not going to hook up and cruise like a 3 seater in lots of rough.
Im just going to keep it stock, ride it like a rental : ) Reliability !
