Quick Question- need help RXT-X
Last weekend I sucked a small stick up at the lake. I got underneath and was able to get it out via the intake grate. It looks like there is nothing else inhibiting the impeller. Should I start the ski in my garage for a moment to make sure the blockage is clear? I don't want to get 40 miles away only to find out I missed something.
How long can you run a 4 Tec out of water without damaging it?
Thank you in advance!

Highly recommend not running it without water.
The temp sensors on the exhaust and block are rather spendy (anywhere from $30 to $65.
If you must I would limit running it to a couple of squeezes of the throttle

Thank you- I was searching for your phone number! I bought all the tools to pull the pump it looks likes I won't need it this time.
Thank you again for your answers!

Yep, don't run it without hooking up to a hose.
Remember you can hold the throttle wide open and try to start it but it will not actually start. That way you could see if anything is still hanging up or just start it up on the hose for 1-2 minutes. I do recommend starting it before putting it back in the water just to be sure everything is okay.
