Could be. Beats me. I saw them and they listed the sizes so I got one. Did I pay too much for a 3" x 9"?

Not really, you`d have to look at summit to compare. Summit has there own that are a thin woven much cheaper.

That filter is lots better than any oil gauze filter made.
There is no comparrison between a K&N type and the new Amsoil.
This is from memory.
Amsoil filters like 99.5% of all particles
Everyone elses paper does 98.9%
Wet Gauze filters 96%
THis is no big deal in a ski, but in a car there are millions and millions and millions of particles going into a filter.
3-4% of those millions is a Lot of dirt to run through a motor.
This info was straight from K&N, their tech said if filter ability was a huge concern that you would be better off going paper and changeing ever 10K miles.

The new Ea filters from Amsoil are "The Sh!t", in my opinion.
I`ve been using Amsoil for several years now, and I`m just getting my hands on some of their new products...PR...
Just picked up the 5W40 synth for the VW
and the long drain interval 5W30 for the Xterra along with the new Ea013 filter!..Ya Man!!!...PR...
