it's not meant to be a bash of anyone or deterent against modding...

i love this! we all love it! we could do it all day long all year round... BUT, you need to know the facts and face reality. some STOCK high performance skis wind up in for service.. u think modded high performance skis dont go in for service too? even more?

if u are rich, have no budget, money is no object... awesome for you, you did great things in life, you'll afford it and u'll get it fixed...

if ur like me, u work hard for your money, well either draw a line, get rich quick, or buy a set of tools and know how to build engines
I know I'm late to this discussion but I agree. My ski doesn't run 90, it will consistently run 86-87 and that's it. I've got a little over 50 hours on this last build and if it comes apart, I'm going back stock with a scom and that's it. I missed out on TWO YEARS of riding because it came apart. I told my friends I'm tired of wrenching, I want to ride... and the worst part is, there's always someone faster than you. You know what, let them be faster, I want to ride.

    I remember telling everyone once I hit 65, I'm good. Then it was 70, 75 and then 80. Once I hit 80, I just wanted 85, that's all...

I'm done, it runs what it runs and I don't want to keep dumping tons of money into it and wrenching all the time.

For those that can, more power to you but I'm too old to keep playing the modification game. (I can't believe those words just came out of my mouth)

    Mark

Boy this is a old post. I totally agree now. I wanted everything faster and worked on them a ton. I learned my fun on the water was not what it should be, but I enjoyed the modding and wrenching. Now we ride way to much. I tune them, air intake, and IMUK. Thats it. They are dam fast as they are.

anyway Mark not sure why you brought this to the top, but Im with you now.

My GFR Turbo 2022 RXT 300 is hitting 90MPH. Just don't feel like drive from OH. Got that Fizzle intercooler, Calas Cam, JP Racing fuel relay, Riva Jesus tune, Lacy Power Sports Flywheel, oil injection, Skat pro, Adrenaline Racing biuld. I gave all you guys money.

The NEED for SPEED is a sickness! But there is always someone faster!

My Turbo powered 2013 TX has been running well without a hint of engine/turbo trouble since 2015, and I do my own tuning, no reflashes here. I've crashed 3 laptops......not my ski! LOL

Now, the newest models are are in the high 80s with minimal mods. Maybe its time for something new, and in the words of Troy; Mod less ride more!
