Jerry once the restrictive shroud cover is removed do you know what size that hole is? I might try it and see what happens.

I don't know the size. Once you remove the shroud you will be able to measure it.

that price is actually good for a filter that size.
i think the new X SC has a larger intake port, to move alot more air, 4"????
so the X model air intake must have been modified. now to get the most out of it i bet you need a 5" kanaflex with reducing coupler , and a monster 5" filter...
might be impossible to properly squeeze something that big into the ski anymore, necessitating a simple filter bolting to the existing airbox like this.
