MFD Lock
I have a 2001 SLH and I thought there was a way to lock the ski, i.e. it wont turn on unless a code is put in. I used the search with no luck, maybe because I just dreamed this up!

I'll work on a pic tonite, but it does not have numbers, I think just mode on one side and set on the other? I'll look when I get home.
My dilemma is that as a family we like to go camping at different campgrounds with our rv, jet ski and boat. At night I would like to leave my ski in the water but I'm worried about theft. Any ideas on how to secure it? Usually the water is about 30-50 ft from our 5th wheel, and I can see it and usually the launch is on the other side of the camp ground. The boat has an actual key and I usually leave it in the water, but as yall know you can hold out the kill switch and ride off. Someone suggested taking the battery out but that two much trouble too.

Polaris MFD without number buttons does not have any security features.
Another member recently purchased a Nautilus Battery Guard
I think this type of device would be ideal for the older PWC that don't have a real security system. It comes with two remote key fobs. Press the remote button, and it disconnects power from the electrics, so it cannot be cranked or started.
Press the enable button on the remote, and power is restored.
I think I am going to buy one just to mess with it, and see what it can do.
Sold for Marine use, so hopefully the remotes and main unit are waterproof!
The feature about disconnecting the load if the battery gets weak seems less important than the remote control enable/disable function.
