Blue Loctite
I can't seem to find the loctite 572 blue for my riva installs but I could find just about everyother kind. What are my alternatives?

Any auto parts store should have the blue. Autozone, Pep Boys, etc.

Permatex has equivilent products, which is what I've been using since the loctite stuff is somewhat scarce near me.

I think your problem is simple, blue loctite for use on threaded fasteners like nuts and bolts is #243, Loctite #572 is liquid pipe thread sealant.

So would 243 loctite be suitable for the intake grate and other riva parts?

yep. I don't know what Riva parts you are refering to as they make all kinds of parts but that's the right stuff for nuts and bolts.
