RXP Chrome Pieces
Ok so my chrome pieces on the port and starboard side looks like they have bubbles in them. So I started to peal some of the metallic coating off. It seems like its taking me forever. Whats the best way to strip the metal off these pieces?? Sandblasting plastic prob not a good idea- Sanding i dont think its gonna come off. Heating up might warp the plastic.
Any suggestions???

mine are pitting also from the salt water/air/ My best guess would be to sandblast at low psi. Sanding would be almost impossible

Sandblast or media blasting would be the best way.

Sandblasting worked well - With a combination of pealing the metal off with needle nose. What a pita that was !!
