Getting the oil light off on my GP....
Can anyone tell me what wire to connect where to get my oil light to turn off. I have a 97 GP1200. My buddy did it for me, but it's obviously not working as it blinks at me all day.
Thanks Guys.

If you are running premix and want to show the oil level as full all the time, tie wrap the floats in the up position.

there were 2 wires going to the oil sensor one was blue and one was white i believe. just make sure they are not touching each other, leaving the circuit open. Your light should go away.(the oil sensor is just a grounded circuit, when you have no oil the float makes contact with 2 contacts on the bottom of the oil unit and closes the circuit making the light come on)
