Yamaha FX SHO after Kawi 15F
Hi guys,is anybody out there who switched from Kawi 15F to Yammi SHO?I would like to know is there big difference riding these 2 skis?I sold my 15F and ordered Yammi SHO already,it will be ready for pickup tomorow.I loved my 15F-i never had any problems,it was fast,my max speed was 61.5 on GPS wit 1/2 tank,i could jump wawes (one arm still hurts since last summer
),and even Yammi GP 1300R could't compete with my ski on choppy water.I rode RXT,GP1300R,ULTRA 250-i liked ULTRA 250 most out of these 3 skiis.I even wanted to buy one until SHO was released.Just i'm thinking is it worthed to go with SHO?(I have 24 Hrs to cancel my sales contract and buy new 15F again). Please help to decide.Thanks.

I've ridden the 15f and the FXHO which is the same hull design as the SHO. The HO was heads and shoulders above the 15f in my book. The quality of the Yamaha is much better and the ride in chop as well as the seating position. The hull on the 15f is too flat in my opinion for a 3 seater. You're going to love the SHO.

the 15f is a great handling hull and so is the fx's hull but IMO the mods for the 15f are limited without using race gas etc. then it becomes too expensive. I'd go with the sho but it's all personal preference.

+2. I have the 15F, and mods get real expensive after the stage 1. I got to ride the SHO this weekend. I thought it was as nimble or better than the 15F. Acceleration will be better on the SHO, as will top speed. Not sure about the mods though. Still early, but with Jerry owning one, it wont be long. I'd say go with the SHO...I kinda like it myself.

I think your going to be impressed with the transformation from the 15F to the SHO. The 15F is a solid ski. It is quick and has a fun hull, but the SHO is faster in every aspect and I am pretty sure will be better in the rough. Kawasaki has always been behind in the modding game so i think the SHO will eventually be a big modding ski.

Get the ultra. Simply the best rough water ride which seems to be of interest to you.
