Youve got to take off the plastic that is around the steering area then unbolt the big black plastic that goes around the steering cover. Lift it up enough to get to it and thats it. Also get a service manual, well worth the money.

One is for the relief valve, the other the BOV. You will have to remove the hoses that run from these valves to the intake. Cap off the ports on the intake where the hoses were. The flat filter can be installed without pulling a lot of stuff off around the steering. Pull the right side fender and remove the right rear mounting bolt on the black steering cover. Also remove the glove box cover. You should be able to pull up the right side enough to get the plastic access cover out and the R&D filter into the opening.
