Which are the best blockoffs for a T-X?
Could you please post your results along with your seat-of-the-pants-feeling of how your ski performs since you put on blockoffs. I put on PPG blockoffs, but I am not happy with the performance of the ski as far as handling goes. The OPAS seemed to slap and drag in the lake slop so I removed it and went to PPG blockoffs. The blockoffs are giving me poor handling as far as turning my T-X goes. The ride in the chop seems to be OK, but sometimes I swerve a little. With the OPAS, I used to float or skid from side to side.... and this was a little scary. As you may or may not know, I recently went from 66mph to 72mph by adding a RIVA power filter, removing my OPAS and adding a JAWZ prop. Unbelievable, but true! I am wondering how much the OPAS had to do with it. Do the REs cure this problem and still give you good speed on the T-X?

Yeah. I will probably be putting them on again and cutting the lower finn area. I just want to see if anyone has experience with the REs on a T-X. I can see where they would be useful on a P-X, but I don't see it yet on a T-X... except for skoepp from Texas who likes them. I must say that I didn't like the skidding or floating with the OPAS on.

Phil, loose the OPASux and get skegs. These little babies perform miracles for the T platform. The ski will track straight, you will not feel the floating in the rear end and when you turn and the skegs grab HOLD ON! Keep the BO's that you have now and test but the RE's are the best blockoffs with everyone else a distant second.

I thnk Lafjax had the RE's, then replaced them with just theRiva block offs and didn't notice any difference.
Yeah loose the OPAS you ski will thank you.

Run the RE's
I took off the OPAS and installed the RE's. The ski handles a lot better with the RE's.
