SHO question
Why is it that on the Yamaha website it claims faster acceleration and lighter weight than all its competitors? I mean the SHO was slower than the RXTX wasn't it.

Is that false advertising, ifeel like that needs to be changed. Nothing against the sho, it is a great ski, just seems a little odd.

who is their competition?
Are they basing their competition on engine size or horsepower or NA skis or skis with cup holders?

I always thought the sho's competition would be the rxt. They weigh about the same, almost the same amount of power, both 3 seaters.
I've watched the gh shootout test and they were pretty much neck and neck...just one had a cup holder. But the sho was no where close to the rxt-x, let alone a rxp-x. It's like Yamaha designed the sho to be competitive with the rxt, then out of nowhere Seadoo brings out the x models. Like holy smokes!!
just my thought.
I'm not a hater either, I have a yamaha.

Love this site......
That is what I love so much about this site. Not only can you learn a thing or two but to listen to the vast variety of opions and dare I say "pride" everyone has about issues especially ski brands.
