FUNNY REGS FOR PWC (USA & Canada)
CCG (DOT): 1 approved PFD that fits (Canadian regs.)
1 50' buoyant heaving line
1 watertight flashlight or 3 flares
1 horn or whistle
*Conditional:*1 paddle or anchor with 50' line
*1 bailer or pump
*1 class 5BC fire extinguisher
* not mandatory if approved PFD that fits is worn.
Stongly "advise" against operating PWC at night(I got nav lights)
USCG (Federal): 1 approved PFD
flame arrestors (inboard engine)
visual distress signal (flares)
powered air ventilation (inboard engine) - blower
contained waste managment system
(toilet and black water holding tank)

These do not include any State additions and / or variations.
Anybody making and selling blowers, crappers and tanks for PWC?
Got the rest covered, except blower. There has got to be exceptions in there some where, right?
Could be a marketing opportunity.Last edited by Canadian Swamp King; 05-14-2008 at 11:39 AM. Reason: correction / addition

Aahh So..............grasshopper!
We won't bust ya for not blowin' and crappin', if you won't go too fast.
Smells like rotton fish to me, but I've heard rumours about this from my Yamaha and BRP Bombardier (SeaDoo) dealer buds, over the past couple of years.
I'd love to drive by the authorities at 100mph on my 2010 FX SHOSHO, while crappin' in my sealed unit, and blowin' the steam at them!
Could happen....stand by.
