Wore out my prop
Damn sand bars! If you have never ridin the South Carolina coast you don't know what I am talking about, but I seem to find all the sand bars offshore. I have chewed up the leading edge of my 14/17R on my '07 RXT and am wondering what to do? Should I scrap it and go bigger say a 14/19 or try and get it refurbed. I am running with the Riva intake, S/S wear ring, OPAS blcok offs, 2 deg. wedge, and the reverse bucket mod. What do you guys/gals think?

Get the 14/17 fixed or get a new one, I don't think you'll push a 14/19.

Only had the s/s wear ring and new prop on about 20 hours. I am wondering if it was good choice or not. Yeah the wear ring will last longer but is it sacrificing my prop sooner. Just have to be a little more careful how far I ride in to the beach I guess. Is anybody with a set up close to mine tryed the 14/19? What is a reasonable price to resurface a prop?

Contact Erik at Speedfreek Racing. His number is 917-559-5744. He does excellent work and will have the prop shipped back to you the following day.
