Sexy.
Your going to love the sound of it.
Why part way on the plexiglass ? Are you wanting it to suck in engine compartment air ?

It is probobly part way so that hot engine air can get out.

this seat flows more air than u can imagine.... there's several reasons not to compeletely seal up the engine compartment...
allow air to flow quickly thru the hull for hull temps
MOSTLY tho...allow access to the hull in the event of failure or emergency. if u plexi they entire thing, now u got more $hit in the way when ur flipping out about something going on in the engine compartment and u can't get to it bc u plexi-ed your access
this intake is gonna be sucking PLENTYYY of outside air ... all of us with the carbon fiber seats are gonna be running it pretty much similar to that with a front intake that's switchable so we can run the stock seat for passengers from time to time.

how about getting some prefilter material and cutting and stapleing on the back side of the seat slot...sharp though!!

Short, Sweet and Simple. Looks great! BTW, how long did it take to find a filter that matched your seat? Fabulous
One question though, is the plexiglass hinged or riveted?

just cross your fingers that you never flip the ski over, it's an rxt so it's pretty damn hard but it's not impossible. looks good!

Now thats EYE CANDY
I agree...put some waterproof pre-filter material on the two intake slots. So long as it doesn't hinder air flow in/out then you would save yourself from water ingestion. It would be easy to test out...run with then without filter material and see what the revs do.
