    Impeller or housing problem

I just picked up a 95 slt 750. I got the motor running great and I took it out on the lake. The ski had no low end grunt, I could peg the limiter on take off if I didn't baby it. I brought the ski back to the garage and took the pump out. The leading edge of the vanes are a bit dinged up, and the impeller/housing is WAY beyond the wear limit. So my questions are as follows. How perfect do the vanes need to be? Why is there no wear ring in these? Is the housing or the impeller worn in the follwing pictures?

I got it today. The ski is outside and it's raining. Once it stops raining I will give it a shot.

The stator was WASTED. Chucks were missing. I located a pump locally on craigslist for 100 bucks. I just finished putting it in. Off to the boat launch.

I misread this earlier. I did get the CDI, my 93 SL750 which is sitting on the dock with no spark. I will install the CDI when it stops raining (most likely tomorrow morning). This problem was with a 95 SLT 750 I just picked up as a project for my Brother in law. The 93 750 goes like heck when it has spark .
