2002 polaris direct injection question
I have a 02 genesis i direct injection that I am having problems with. Bolt in flywheel came out, we replaced flywheel, stator, sending unit and computer. It does not idle well, and it will die, but once you get it past rough idle it runs great. Is there a way to adjust idle or is that all controled by computer. Thansk in advance

strickland, I'd like to say WELCOME to the Green Hulk Forums!!
Before you do anything else, send the injectors and control unit into Polaris and have them calibrated, world of difference when mine were done and you sure don't want a lean running condition.

Compression please each cylinder ,Change out TPS ,crimp connectors slightly on Tps for better connection to main harness .Voltage at injectors on idle if you can and we will go from there .
Cheers

Do you have anyone that has the polaris diagnostics ?.Even the older style will give you the numbers for the injectors to match what was installed originally .If you sent them as well as the computer you may have them in the wrong cylinders .Swap injectors over and see how it is then .Generally the injectors are very close at idle and play around as the engine load etc increases as that is when it is critical but swap them any way to discount the theory .Have you checked the compression on all cylinders this is vital to correct diagnosis .Is the Tps new ?Are the contacts to the tps connecting properly ?(crimp them a bit to be sure )
Get back to us

What "bolt" were you told in the flywheel come out as there aren't any bolts on the flywheel ?Sure a magnet didn't come off or did a bolt come out of the stator retaining plate
