I've actually never had to pull one. I need to pull my 06 SC though.
I really don't want to start on someone elses.
Call Kawasaki City in Lancaster, 972-228-3772. They might be busy being the beginning of the season. They are a very reasonable dealer.

Its probably 2 hours of labor which seems to be fair in my eyes.

I would not trust a dealer to install the washers. Let 4-tec performance (Jerry Gaddis) install it. It is really easy to remove. If you are basically mechanically inclined, you can do it. trust me, its easy. I never worked on an RXP until I bought one for my wife last year. As soon as the ski got in my garage, [never been in the water] I had the SC out in 15 minutes.
Also check with forum member Jarrett. He is in your area also.
Here is the link to remove it

Ok I am about mechanically inclined as a dead frog on the side of the road.
I was able to remove my SC and install the rude in about an hour.
$150 isn't too bad if you have a trustworthy dealer.
But doing it yourself is rewarding.
