In the market for a ski? Look around, ask questions, etc...You got a LOT of choices....but choose wisely...What is your previous experience on watercraft?

Don't go to a yamaha dealer and ask to see his jet skis. My brother went to a sea doo dealer and asked to see the wave runners, they were like, sorry, we don't have any.... Sea doo's are sea doos, Yamaha are wave runners and Kawasaki are jet skis. Sometimes they are anal about it.

Welcome to the forum!! Each brand has it's own selling points, I own a Sea-Doo RXP and have been real happy with it. I have 10 years riding experience, here's a list of the good and bad for ski's i've riden.
RXP
good
sporty looks
easily to modify
Big horsepower
sport bike handling in smooth water
Bad
Beat you to death in chop
wet ride
Kawi 250X
good
Works well in chop
Decent power for big boat
sporty looks
Handles well for big boat
dry ride
Bad
Boat is huge to me
Heavy
hard to read gauges in direct sunlight
GPR
Good
Great hull
Handles good
Bad
Under powered
Honda 12X
Good
realiblity
Bad
way under powered
These are the only ski's i've ridden, the RXP is my fav but it's not for everyone.

Thanks for all the advice.. yea my boyfriend (altezza01) has 07 GP1300R and it's nice, but I prefer to have something with a reverse. I'm new to this water sports (I'm from Seattle-- more experience with snow and rain
).. I was thinking of getting a superjet, but he talked me out of it.. so jet ski it is..
