2002 Freedom - Any good?
Now I am looking at a 2002 Freedom. Is this a good watercraft. Is it a 3 seater and what options does it have? Can't seem to find much on the net. Seems very close to the older virage. Thanks.

Are you really searching for the info?
The Freedom is a twin cylinder carburetor Virage with just basic instrumentation and features, very few options. Same hull, different top side colors. Seat might be different.
There is only one Virage hull design for all years. Prior to that, the SLTX bottom hull was similar, with a different top deck style.
All Polaris are good watercraft!
There was only a handful of Polaris hull designs from 1992-2004. Within those hulls, there were a variety of engine sizes, and from 1999-2004, some models had the option of Ficht fuel injection or carbs.
Polaris PWC model summary
Original SL two seater 1992-1997
Original SLT three seater 1994-1997
SLX and SLTX performance 2 and 3 seaters up to 1999

Virage/Freedom 3 seater 2000-2004
MSX140/110/150 3 seater 2003-2004

The Freedom has got to be the worlds best gas mileage watercraft over 49mph. I think I heard Womak did like 3 round trips Long Beach/Catalina on one before refueling.

I think the virage 800i got better gas consumption than the freedom I heard, but yeah at $3.50+ per gallon, the freedom is a "wiser" choice for those who don't want to spend all their check at the pump.
