Wire connection in connector question...
I need to connect the R/W wire that runs from the fuel gauge (with ring connector) to the Deutsch connector. My question is, how does the wire fit into the connector? Does it just go in there stripped or is there a tiny metal connector that needs to be inserted into the hole?
I included a stock photo of the type of connector (i know it's not the exact one) just to show what connection I am talking about.

Nice Scott!!
If nothing else you can also switch them to the common GM weather pack connectors supplied by PICO. You can get them with or without tails.
Weather pack with tails.

It goes in stripped and you should solder it in .Unless you have the tool to crimp it properly .Best to solder it though and coat it with dialectric grease

I got the new wire installed now I have one more question...should the fuel gauge only be reading when the ski is turned on or should it read the fuel level at all times the battery is hooked up?
