Engine cutting out error code
Just been out on ski I have a 2005 RXP lots of mods with Riva Ecu .and getting the following error codes
1611
0608
Check engine as soon as you open the throttle the ski cuts . looked at fault codes TPS sensor or Map sensor.
Is this a common fault ?
Any ides would be good thanks

Don't the throttle bodies have to be married to the new ECU? I thought that you needed to send the TB to Riva for that to be done... Ron

I have been seeing a few tps sensors failing as a result of the seal deteriorating in the tb. alowing salt air in and throwing the sensor out.(salt water run ski`s only) get it reset. if it keeps happening may be the sensor is shot ?

I don;t want to bring up an old thread, but I'm having the same two codes on a 2005 gtx I just purchased. Does anybody know the fix? I checked resistance on tps and did a sweep test, but looks good. Any answers?
