Thanks 97sltx1050 for the reference! Here's a pic of what I have, however I believe 800Amsoil is going to buy it...he contacted me this morning about it...just waiting to hear back. If he decides not to get it, obviously it will be available. Like my ad says, no hardware or install instructions, but both can be ordered and downloaded at the www.aquaperformance.com this is part 1096SLTX. This is brand new...was a display model.
Edit...step is sold.Last edited by 32DegH2O; 05-05-2008 at 09:11 PM.

The MSX step is several inches narrower than the SLTX/Virage aqua-step.
The MSX step brackets lines up with the tiny X marks scribed into the small flat areas on the transom for the step mounting screws. On 2003 MSX hulls, there were aluminum reinforcement plates behind those marks.
Apparently the 2004 MSX hulls don't have the metal plates, so maybe the marks don't mean as much.

The step is too wide for a MSX hull, would not sit on the flats. So yea,I'll sell it.It is a factory Polaris, foam and springs are good on it. It also has the angled contured blocks so it fits the hull correctly. This one was held to the transom with the hull inserts(Which you can by from Aqua-step or Mcmaster-carr) or you can drill and bolt thru the hull. Pm sent
