Flooded Ultra!!
A friend of mine has 2008 red ultra last weekend he called me up to have some fun and race I can’t do it because of some job, while he was coming back his ultra was almost full of water flooded, He has no clue what happen I asked him if he left his drain plugs kept open by any chance he said no, guys what could let water go in to the engine compartment any clue?

Check the cooling hoses coming from the pump.
One of them popped.
Put it in place and tighten it correctly.
If you do a search in May - June 07 posts you will even find pics.
It is a very common symptom on 07's.
Happened to almost everybody.

IF its the pop out hose thing its the first time i hear it for 08's.

somewhat on the same subject. but not quite...
anyone notice air escaping your stock sponsons when submerged. are the sponsons suppose to take in water. or possibly leaking into the hull. both sponsons do it. i dont ahve a problem with water in my hull. anyways, check out your crafts sometime and see if its normal. thanks.

i havent had them off. so i didnt know there was air pockets behind sponsons. but if thats the case then thats what im seeing. got me worried for a bit that maybe my sponsons into my hull had started leaking. i stopped at a sandbar and thats when i noticed. ill keep a closer eye. thanks.

just I quick updats the delaer told him that the water came to his engine from cooling lines any one can explan how it happen
