RXTX by JAWZ - WOW!
Until today, I had the slowest RXT-X on the planet... 66.1mph on the GPS on 2 bars of fuel. My Ultra with a ride plate was slightly faster at 66.5mph. Everybody was dumbfounded that my T-X ran so slow. I'll admit that my lake is be about 3mph slower than any other place in the country. Everybody runs slower here. If you remember last week or so, we went through about a 10 day thread with everybody pitching in trying to analyze my speed problem. After trying a few things, I was still running 66.1mph.
Today we did some mods: RIVA air intake, PPG blockoff plates and a JAWZ designed prop. Jeff told me that I would be impressed at the performance of his prop. Impressed is the not word that describes the performance... a better word is amazing... or better yet ballistic.... or better yet, WOW!
I went from running 66.1mph on an empty tank of fuel to 70.8 on a full tank of fuel after mods. Finally after several runs and on 2bars of fuel, the ski hit a solid 72.0mph on several runs in all directions. That's a 6mph people! That's amazing! If I didn’t see with me own eyes, I would not have believed it. I am the world’s biggest pessimist when it comes to speed and mods.
Now, the ski hits so hard that if you are not holding on, THE SKI WILL LEAVE WITHOUT YOU! It gives me that E-Ticket Ride when I punch it in the mid-range. I am taking this ski off the GH classifieds. It is NOT for sale!
I raced a friend down the middle of the lake, like I do every weekend. He has a slightly modified 2007 RXT... a water box, a RIVA air intake, plus he weighs about 140lb.. Well, I beat him to death. No contest at any speed! I am ecstatic because he beat me before I had Jeff do his magic. Thank you, thank you, thank you Jeff. You are the prop meister!Last edited by Phil; 05-04-2008 at 07:59 PM.

I sent Jeff a new RXTX prop and it came back looking very weird.
I don't know what magic he did, but he obvisouly found the secret. My ski is ballistic, compared to what it was. I think if I were on salt water at sea level I could see 75mph. The acceleration is not to be believed considering this is a STOCK ski.

Well congrats on the new speed. I may have to send my prop to Jeff if Riva keeps taking their sweet time releasing the new prop. I hope to test all the mods in my sig this weekend.
