outfitting my ski for spearfishing
i just got a yamaha fx ho cruser and an extractor sled
i am looking for ideas about how to
1. carry extra fuel on the ski (link to some good cans and attachments to the ski)
2. holster spearguns on the ski
i saw that someone bought a wakeboard holder for there seadoo would that fit on a yamaha?
any links would be very helpful

there is a guy on seadoo forum selling power cooler attachment, he calls it.. it might work for you or he could build what you want.

yesterday was quite a break in experiance
i made my first catalina island run (28 miles)
yes the weather was not as good as i thought
no swell but pretty confused seas
i took a beating getting to the lee of the island (could not even make 20knt)
but after that i opened it up to 48knts and flew the last 4 miles
i refueled 4.5 gal that was a world record for me
I nearly lost my wong ono gun 2 times and it got a few deep abrasions from a metal screw on the sled
I got pretty beat up on the way home launching off of waves at 30knts
and i was so tired when i got home at 8:30 only to get harrassed by harbor patrol for another 30 min for being out without lights.
I'm sore as hell today mostly legs and sholders
however spearfishing with a PWC is awsome and i am hooked!
i dropped in on 5 spots getting on and off using kelp over the handlebars
priceless
fish report
i only got about 90min of underwater time
no white sea bass seen but i dropped in on a big school and got boomed buy lots of tails

I think that he needs the kelp to re board because the rig at the back makes normal boarding impossible
