Anyone have a Jims plate on a GTX?
Just wondering about how it fit? See my pics below, inake grate is hanging down below about 1/8". shoe and grate where 100% clean when installed so no there is not junk in between.
gonna have to figure a way to raise it, going to try it like this sunday and see what happens.

my rxt is like that also. no idea why. Wanted to shave it down but didn't want to increase my chances of having the pump shoe break.

I assume it is like that because the plates rear mounting bosses have been machined which changes the grate mounting surface on plate to no longer be flat/level with where the grate itself bolts up. I doubt it costs too much speed but you could smooth the transition and fill voids to make it flow better.
Also, you could try mouning grate flush on plate and then install as one unit on the ski.
