There should be no water in the hull after a ride. To find the leak tilt it back on the trailer and fill the inside of the hull up to the driveshaft and see where it runs out.

The most common area for a leak is the drive shaft seal #9 or the thru-hull fitting #12. Also the speedo line that runs from under the drive shaft up to the gage has been known to fall-off

My SLT is full of water everytime out. Not enough for the bilge pump to pick up; just enough to see in the bottom. Filled it up w/hose water once and the speedo pick up leaked around where it hits the hull. Fixed that but still gets water in it; dont worry about it. Will it float overnite?

Another cause may be a leaking cooling hose. If you don't find a leak in the hull, then run it on the garden hose and look inside. I saw a guy had cooling hose that wore a hole into it from rubbing inside the hull.
