Well it wasn't my clutch!!!!
This weekend the ski lost power, kept droping rpm's and seemed to be running warmer than normal.
So I checked the oil as I had just changed it, and found that I over filled a little bit. My little helper spilled my container
I must have had an air bubble in the coolant as it went down a little and I toped it off with a second bottle of Purple Ice.
Neither of these helped so I figured it was the clutch so the SC came out.
And guess what I found.
Remember when I drilled the waterbox and removed the piece of the baffle??
Guess what??? There are TWO of these not one
It broke loose and restricted exhaust flow resulting in lost rpm's and running warm.
So the WB is cut and I am removing most of the baffles and I am 99.9% sure it will fix the problem.
I am going to go ahead and install the metal washer while I am there.
Jerry was going to do it, but it looks so easy I figure I can do it here.
My friend has a $500 digital 1/4" drive torque wrech that I figure will do the job.
I think I will make do without the tools or just order them??
So if you do a mod like a few here have done make sure that you get both pieces out.

I have not taken it out yet just looked in with a flash light and I can not see any marks at all.
I am going to pull it tomorrow night to verify.

David, Call me or pm me your number. I need to tell you whats going on with my tripple bearing mod. You will need a bigger torque wrench than a 1/4" drive.
