I gained better acceleration.
Maybe 100 more RPM's on top if indexed correctly.

For the price of that cam,,,never happen. CamMotions in Louisiana can do a custom grind more than likely. Bang for buck just isn`t there yet.

If you gave cam motions your stock cam,,,I promise they can do it. If you gave them specs to the racing cam,,definate. Most large companies in the US that do custom grinds,,,,do their farming at Cam Motions. just FYI

The problem with grinding stock cams is the cores. More lift and duration requires a bigger core than an already ground profile. If you
re- grind the stock profile the base circle will get smaller and there is no way to shim the Hyd rockers. The RR grind has more lift and duration than stock but retains base circle size, its a little more trouble and costly than you think. I gained 100 RPM with cam and no head work. i profiled the specs of the RR cam vs stock and would need a un ground core to get it made, the core is more than likley the price of the cam.

Who EVER said they would re-grind a stock cam? Only an idiot would do that. If you re-ground a cam the centerline would be off? NO SHEET! We must be building a rocket ship. Gotta be. Thats it. What else could it possible be.
:P

Burnwater most cam shops "blast" weld the cam to build up the lobes then cut them to whatever specs you want.
This way you get the new profiles.
