Tri-State Personal Watercraft Club raises money to help

Big Bone Landing, Union KY. June 10, 2006

More than two hundred personal watercraft riders and jet boat drivers will ride the Ohio River on June 10th, 2006 to raise funds for Cincinnati’s Children’s Hospital Medical Center. The event is one of the largest fund raiser rides in the United States and draws participants from throughout the region.

Tri-State Personal Watercraft Club (sponsored by Pleasant Valley Outdoor Power, EZ Dock, Sea-Doo, American Watercraft Association, Perry Performance Group and Reed Brothers Insurance) hosts the 2006 Ohio River Freedom Ride. The ride will start at Jane’s Saddlebag and travel down the Ohio River to Carrollton KY. Lunch will be provided at Carrollton KY. The ride will then turn back up river to Jane’s Saddlebag for a cookout and party. Check-in begins at 9:30 am at Jane’s Saddlebag at Big Bone Landing.

The cost for the ride is $35 (this includes lunch, dinner and launch fees). Additional riders are $15 to cover lunch and dinner. AWA membership is required and is available at

All profits from the ride will go to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
