Grooves in Pump Support Bracket
Anyone have any clues what could have caused these grooves in the pump support bracket? I have had my pump in and out numerous times and just never noticed this before and find it hard to believe they have been there the whole time or came from the factory this way
...

Looks like your wear ring was spinning in the pump. A few screws will stop it spinning.

Thanks steach, I am running the stainless one now. Steve said the same thing, but sheeze, how the hell did it wear the way it did??? I'll bet it happened when my bearings went out in the pump a few months back....
Jeff, I think it looks like cracks because of the lighting and the angle of the photos. I did check for cracks in that area and it is clean....
