7800 rpm's
Hey RXPBLAST,
I was out last sunday with the temps in the 80s and the rpm were 8000-8100 rpms ! Then I took the ski out on Monday afternoon and the temps were in the low to mid 90s and my rpm was 7800- 8000 but avrg 7950 ! I am not sure how fast I am going , becuse my little paddle wheel on speedo desinegrated and my speedo reads 0 ! I did race a scrab and was neck and neck with him on choppy water !

its the differnce in temps...the warmer the air the less rpms you will have, also humidity plays a big role...

Hey I hope you can get those rpms up with these slightly cooler temps ?
Did you hear that they are putting ethyonal in the gas at the marinas in Delaware and Ocean City ? I heard that the 4-tech engines are blowing up because of the ethyonal in the gas ? Can you check it out when you are down there to see if they will still have gas without the ethyonal in it ? I like to use 92 or 93 octain and where would the best place to get it and what are they paying at the pumps in Ocean City ?

well i have been getting gas a the gas station and not the marinas becasue i can get it on the way to the launch. i think for 93 octane its like 2.84 which is not as bad as i thought it was going to be. i will try to find out if they are putting ethynol in the gas at the marinas next time i am there.
