suggested mods for sporster scic
Can anyone recommend some mods for my boat. It handles excellent and has nice power, but never enough.
I love my boat, but it's stock, this is the only thing I drive, ride that's stock.
Any help will be appreciated.

air intake....then S/C impeller, then IC, then go with an exahust upgrade...and after all of that you will need a new prop...but that takes time...
Also I think either somefun or yuji is going to try a double wedge (5* total) on each pump to see if they cant get the hull up out of the water...

Ha, my first post and I've been here since Dec checking on all the inf. I too have an 05 Sportster SCIC. I'm looking to do some mods as well and get this thing a little faster. I would suggest looking into upgrading the washers and go with an 06 kit and change to Les's metal washers if desired. My boat is at the dealer getting a new engine cover since it started to delaminate. (warranty covered) Are you on the seadoo sportboat forums as well? I know Yuji is, but I haven't been there in a while either.

Yeah guys...lets get to doin' some mods! I just got my rage on...sucked it up...took a deep deep breath... and drilled the hole for the Rotax Racing billet thru-hull...looks sweet and can't wait to hear it. Still have to weld up the pipe but it should be a snarrly soundin' sum a beootch
Just got done installing 10" subs under the back seats and put some Polk Audio 6.5"s in place of the shitty stock clarions. Sounds freakin' mean and I should be able to eject my kids from the seated position just by crankin' up the stereo
Jerry, I wonder if there is the possibility of getting a seadoo sport boat forum in the index? Just curious as it would be easier for the 4tec equipped jetboaters to find info. If not, thats cool cuz I'll continue to come here waaay to much to get my performance fix
