PPG Power Pipe Vs. Thru Hull Exhaust
Are there any benefits to running a thru hull exhaust compared to PPGs power pipe? Im mounting a custom xspower intercooler setup to my ski soon and understand that piping would be easier to do with Rivas or Rotaxs thru hull exhaust but do they actually outperform each other is my question. As Im writing this post I came to wonder if the heat created by the power pipe being right under my intercooler plumbing have an affect on the ICs performance???

they are gonna let the ski breathe and perform the same... same design, just one uses the stock exit, and one u need to drill a hole.
the thru-hull takes away alot of clutter, keeps the exhaust components all on the same side of the hull, and sounds better.
the power pipes and power flow pipes tend to be more annoying to the riders ears as it resonates the sounds loudly in the pump cavity.
the thru-hulls are more aggressive sounding and quieter to the rider and less of a drone vibrating thru ur skull at 3000 rpms
in short... get a thru-hull if u don't mind drilling a holeone of my favorite mods

that fibreglass is VERY easy to repair if you change your mind...But you will not....Probably one of my favourite mods to date (besides the performance ones)...I get ALOT of compliments about the sound and look of the thru hull...

same here asked a billion questions before i drilled a hole in my ski, love the sound not anoying and looks good too.in my opinion get the rotax wich uses metal instead of plastic and the exaust tip is awsome looking.
it will cost a little bit more for the rotax.
thanks all you guys for the answeres on the thru hull installation.
and thanks mark underwood for the help last saturday.

G,day Guys
Can a rotax power pipe or ppg pipe be used when installing a xspower intercooler , instead of the thru hull deal?

If anything you will need to switch a thru hull to one of these.

Thanks guys
