69@8400RPM
As the world turns for me once more. Last week 8200RPM 68 Todan 93 degrees out I put 2mm on the tail and the rpms shot up to 8400 but the speed only went up to 69. Checked the boost 7-8psi. What the hell is goign on here??? My best run with the stock class ECU was 72.9 @ 8350. Back here when i first got the ECU I added 2mm on the leading edge of the impeller. Since then I have also added a wearring. Do you think it is grabbing to much water ??????????????

I wonder if you've added too much pitch and reduced the outside diameter of your impeller? I know playing with the leading edge you open a whole new can of worms as well, but maybe yer an experienced impeller pitcher unlike myself

Your prop has been bent every which way, but right.
I would start with a brand new out the box impeller and take it from there.

You lost the outside diameter which is crucial to maintaining tight clearance with the wear ring. If you lose that clearance you will lose speed.

The Solas 14/19R out of the box has me at 74.4 at 8250 RPM. I have the new race ECU so I have not even unleashed its potential. Good way to check your prop fit. I go out in the garage at night with a drop light and cut all other lights off. Hold the drop light under your intake grate and look up your steering nozzle. You can tell if you have to much clearance.

Jerry do you still have the solas that I sent back to you???? LOL With your impeller I would run 68.8-69 between 7900-8000RPM Ok pulled up some old notes.
Last week
TE (Trailing edges) My impeller 0.9mm table to tip of blade = 70@ 8200rpm
TE Jerry's impeller 0.8mm table to tip of blade =68-69@8000rpm
Both leading edges were right around 48mm Jerry your impeller looked steeper.
Now this weekTE I pulled up almost 2 more mm and made a smother blade trasition
69@ 8400
O MAN I just remembered something !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! will poast back in the morning
