Cooling/Flushing Hose Placement??
hey guys im working on a freind of mines 1997 GP1200 and the hose that is for flushing the machine is disconnected and just hanging around on the inside of the hull?
i tried searching for the placement but i couldnt find anything.
thanks alot i appreciate it, this site is great you guys have a lot of good information.

welcome. If you look at the top of this section, you will see all the stickied threads. open the one for Yamaha service manuals and download the one you need. If I remember correctly, the Y fitting goes in line with the hose coming from the pump.

the factory flush fittings often break and people replace them with a universal style fitting and since it doesn't have the threaded fitting like the original they just leave it in the hull
