90mph?
I own 2 seadoos and absolutley believe in 4-tech power. I also am amazed at the speeds some folks on this site are are reaching with RXPs and RXTs only being out for a few years. But I visited the Yamaha site for the first time and was blown away at the speeds they're reaching. They are posting speeds of 88mph plus, which means, I believe, they have reached a new world speed record, except for the fact it wasn't officially recorded. I realize they had a huge headstart on reseach and application, but give credit where credit is do. These guys are going to break 90 mph soon!

I don't think any ski will ever go over 90 mph without new hull design.
Do you have some links from the other side where they say they are going 88 or 90 mph?

macc racing has already built a couple 15F SC that go 86 in closed course trim, so 90, yes I believe, just that they pull almost 400 hp.
GPRs go high 80s with 300-320 hp
RXPs go low mid 80s with 350 hp
15Fs go mid to high 80s with 400.
So how fast do you think a GPR would be with a 15F SC motor? or even an RXP motor?
It's all about the fastest hull with the most power, so far the STX is the slowest hull but has the most power, the GPR is the fastest hull but has the least power, the RXP is inbetween.
